Luxe Wig Care Instructions

• Detangling & Brushing:
  Gently comb through the wig with a wide-tooth comb or a wig brush to remove any tangles. Start from the tips and work upward toward the roots. During use, avoid vigorous brushing; if adjustments are needed, use a soft-bristle brush.

• Washing:
  Wash your wig every 10-15 wears or sooner if you notice buildup from styling products or environmental exposure. Before washing, remove any styling accessories and secure the wig on a wig stand or mannequin head. Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add a small amount of wig-specific or gentle sulfate-free shampoo. Immerse the wig gently, swishing it around for a few minutes without scrubbing or twisting the fibers, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all shampoo is removed.

• Conditioning:
  After shampooing, apply a wig conditioner designed for synthetic fibers. Lightly work the conditioner through the wig with your fingers, avoiding the roots and Swiss lace area to maintain its integrity. Rinse thoroughly with cool water to lock in shine.

• Drying:
  Gently pat the wig dry with a clean towel and place it on a wig stand to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Avoid using a hairdryer or any direct heat that might damage the synthetic fibers.

• Styling & Heat:
  If the wig is labeled as heat-resistant and you choose to use heat styling tools, set them on the lowest effective temperature. Limit the use of heat to prevent damage to the fibers and to preserve the longevity of the curls.

• Storage:
  When not in use, store the wig on a wig stand or in a breathable bag to maintain its shape and prevent dust accumulation. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve both the fibers and the Swiss lace.
